Awakening Faith: Reconnecting with Your Catholic Faith

Awakening Faith: Reconnecting With Your Catholic Faith is a new resource published by the Paulist National Catholic Evangelization Association (PNCEA), and is designed to help parishes and dioceses reach out to Catholics who are not very involved in the practice of the faith. Often we think of non-practicing Catholics as those who are marginalized or angry, but a new pastoral reality has become clear: it’s also about Catholics losing their priorities, drifting away, and choosing other options.
This new program equips a parish to invite and welcome people to a series of conversations about themes of faith that hold particular meaning for people who are searching. Awakening Faith is a structured set of six conversations around themes of faith:
1. Spirituality: What’s the buzz?
2. Who is Jesus?
3. Do we need the Spirit?
4. Reconciliation: Can I accept God’s Mercy?
5. Can Mass Make my Life Meaningful? and
6. The Church and Me
An optional follow-up of four more themes which
explore faith’s application to modern life is also available through
this program-Is Faith Possible?, Love, Marriage –Divorce-Annulments, and
Money. Each theme is
