Fulfilling the Parish Mission Through Leadership Roles and Responsibilities

Pastor As a delegate of the bishop, he is responsible for the overall life of the Parish and serves as link between and among Parish Staff, Finance Council and Pastoral Council.
Parish Finance Council With the Pastor, responsible for managing budget, facilities and development efforts based on goals and objectives of the parish Pastoral Plan.
Parish Pastoral Council With the Pastor, responsible for long-range pastoral planning affecting the whole of parish life.  Supported and resourced by Parish Staff and Finance Council.
Parish Staff As delegates of the Pastor they are accountable to him or his designate and are responsible for day to day ministry according to their job description.
Whole People of God “All the faithful by virtue of Baptism are equal in dignity.  The voices of all are prized.  The faithful have the responsibility to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and the right to speak for the welfare of the Church.”1
